This course explores the core principles of the epidemiology of human disease, with emphasis on emerging infectious and blood borne and blood-borne diseases. Topics include prevention and treatment of various disease entities. study designs used in epidemiological investigation; the relationship between policy and epidemiology; and measures of disease occurrence.
