Enables students to design a surveillance plan and epidemiologic investigation using computerized tools and decision support systems. Covers topics such as baseline rates, notification systems, appropriate and feasible denominator data, key indicators, reportable pathogens and communicable disease follow-up. This course includes 45 hours of practice experience activities.
